  36.     * INSTALL ONTO HARDDISK *

  38. 1. Create a folder called OBSESSED on your harddisk.
  39. 2. Drag all the files (see above) to the OBSESSED folder.

  42.     * COMPABILITY *
  43.  
  44. The Obsession demo works on any Atari STE and Atari FALCON
  45. with at least 1 MB RAM.
  46. The program has been tested on various versions 
  47. of  TOS; 1,62,  2.06,  4.04
  48. Mega STE users should start up the demo in 16 MHz, no cache mode.

  51.     * PLAYERS GUIDE TO AQUATIC ADVENTURE *
  52.  
  53. When the table starts to scroll  press RETURN to begin play.
  54. You launch the ball with the arrow key DOWN. The longer
  55. you keep it pressed the more you tighten the launch spring.
  56. Use LEFT & RIGHT SHIFT keys to activate the left and right 
  57. flippers and SPACEBAR to tilt the table (very useful when you 
  58. want to direct the ball). Pressing the ASTERISK (*) on the 
  59. numerical keyboard changes the size of the LED-display. 
  60. ESC leaves the demo.

  62. The Story so far...
  63. Bobby Bubble is truly an adventurer. Not did he only
  64. escape from the secret dungeons of Captain Notpolite, he 
  65. also stole the secret treasure map from the Captain
  66. and is now heading towards the Sitnalta archipelagos.
  67.  
  68. The map leads to a strange and uninhabited island with a great
  69. coral reef called Sharks' Nest surrounding it. Bobby puts on his 
  70. diving gear and heads into the warm but deadly water. What
  71. he doesn't know is that Captain Notpolite is watching him from 
  72. his stealth submarine 137. Will Bobby find the treasure or end up 
  73. as a shark snack. You decide!
  74.     
  75. The AQUATIC ADVENTURE table consists of  a number of  different 
  76. ramps and passages. 
  77.  
  78. On the left side is the DEEP ramp. It leads to a spring at the left 
  79. bottom of the table. When visiting that ramp you make Bobby 
  80. ascend deeper down into the coral reef. The DEEP ramp gives 50 000 bonus 
  81. points and visiting it more often gives you the chance to activate
  82. KICKBACK, gain 2 million, be rewarded with a SAFE BALL or 
  83. even an EXTRA BALL!

  86. If you manage to spell  D, I, V, E you are faced with two options. 
  87.  
  88. 1. have the chance to increase your bonus multiplier corresponding to 
  89. the lights at the bottom; x2, x3. By shooting the ball into the left 
  90. passage, where an arrow with the text IB is flashing, gives 
  91. you INCREASED BONUS. When a BONUS MULTIPLIER is lit
  92. you are going to recive the multiplied bonus after the ball is out.

  94. 2. To access the different DIVE MISSIONS (removed from this demo) you'll 
  95. have to shoot the ball at the ramp directly left of the passage which leads 
  96. to the dolphin.

  99. The STARFISH ball trap gives random awards. It can be everything from 25 000 to 
  100. EXTRA BALL. To increase your chances to score big, you'll simply have to light 
  101. S, E, A. There are also a lot of secrets for you to discover!

  107. occur and how?), or you might think that some elements should be
  108. added or removed.
